Born Rogelio Armando Nevares Guajardo in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on July 5th 1968. Roger Nevares is a Mexican actor based in London, United Kingdom, who works in British, Mexican and international films as well as television. He has played drug lord 'Raoul Gomez' in the Emmy-winning British hit Sky/HBO/Cinemax TV series 'Strike Back', Russian low-life Wally in 'North v South', a Spanish Grand Prix Judge in Ron Howard's film 'Rush', Mr Brown in 'Hank Zipzer' and the scene-stealing part of a clueless Portuguese interpreter in the TV Film 'Lawless' directed by Jon Jones (Mr Selfridges); he was also directed by Jones as Ambassador Martinez in 'The Great fire'. Notably, he was 'Padre Galvan' in the 'Oscar' and 'Golden Globe' nominated Mexican film 'The Crime of Padre Amaro' alongside Gael Garcia Bernal.
