Biography

David Michael Ross made his feature film debut in the 2000 Summer Blockbuster release, The Patriot. He attended an open audition and was cast for a very small role which he was told would last approximately 5 days. On his second day of filming the producers put him in a scene with Mel Gibson, Jason Isaccs, and Heath Ledger which was a very pivotal scene in the film and as result worked consistently for four months. After "The Patriot", and under the advice of Mel Gibson to write, and develop content, Ross continued acting small in roles in studio and independent films, and eventually went on to write and produce several films. He is a partner at Tranquil Bay Entertainment with a slate of film and television projects in various stages. In addition, Mr. Ross has sold three feature screenplays and was hired to write an additional four.
