Biography

Christopher Lee McDaniel was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina and grew up in a small town called Bennett, 45 miles south of Raleigh. His father Jay McDaniel was in the music business and a DJ for one of the top rock stations in North Carolina. His mother Brenda McDaniel was a travel agent at her own agency. While growing up in the south and on a farm he raced dirt bikes, swam in rivers, went camping, and was a real country boy. Christopher was always very athletic and grew up playing baseball, basketball, wrestling, and golf. His first job was a lifeguard when he was 16-17 years old. After high school he moved to Wilmington, NC for college. Christopher attended Cape Fear College and started working his way into the studios and shows shooting there, one of which was "Dawson's Creek". On a week-long trip to Los Angeles, with his father, a photographer approached Christopher and wanted to work with him. Shortly thereafter, he was picked by the producers at Fox to play a role on X-
