Biography

Three-Time Emmy Nominated writer, Jordan Allen-Dutton, was born in Palo Alto, California and attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts graduating as the first ever recipient of the Artist Scholar Award in 1999. While at NYU he co-created and starred in The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hip-hop add-rap-tation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which became a smash Off-Broadway hit, performing in the West End in London, Chicago, Florida, Dublin, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Amsterdam. The show was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, Outer Critic's Circle Award, and won the Jeff Award in Chicago and the Grand Jury Prize for Best Show at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. With the success of Bomb-itty, Jordan signed the first ever three-tier deal with MTV and Paramount going on to produce, write and star in the hip-hop sketch comedy series, Scratch & Burn for MTV in 2002.
