Biography

Andreas Muñoz was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1990. He is the eldest in a family of actors including Gara and Omar Muñoz. Muñoz began his professional acting career at the age of nine, debuting in the film The Devil's Backbone, directed by Guillermo del Toro and produced by Pedro Almodóvar. His first leading role in a Spanish film was in 2005 where he played the role of Iván in Arena en los Bolsillos, directed by César Martínez Herrada. From then on, he has taken part in different international productions such as Casi Ángeles in Argentina and Goal II: Living the Dream. Andreas is fluent in both English and French which has taken him to the United States where he worked as a presenter on the Disney Channel and played the leading role in Sam Shepard's play Tongues. He has also been working with the National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Dunsinane, and played the leading role in the feature film The Students of Springfield Street directed by Steve
