Lary Crews

As is often the case in real life, Lary Crews became an actor by chance. During a 35-year career as a radio broadcaster and program director at various radio stations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Michigan, and Florida. Crews appeared in more than a 35-community theater and dinner theater productions. He served as director Robert Altman's personal assistant on advance production of the film Health filmed in St. Pete Beach FL. Crews also wrote three published paperback mystery novels, one of them - Extreme Close-Up - based loosely on his experiences on Health. Married to Lori Crews in Burbank, CA, Crews worked for former TV magician Mark Wilson and his wife and costar Nani Darnell.
