Biography

Savin Yeatman-Eiffel is a writer, director and producer - and the founder of French animation studio Sav! The World Productions. Savin Yeatman-Eiffel wears all three hats on the hit animated series Oban Star Racers: The Alwas Cycle (2006), aired in more than 90 countries worldwide, including Japan (NHK BS1) and the USA (ABC Family & ToonDisney), which he wrote, produced, directed. This ambitious series, skilfully mixing traditional 2D and top-notch CG, action-adventure and emotions, is a very rare case of artistic collaboration between Japan and the West. Savin and his team lived and worked in Tokyo for more than 2 years, in perfect osmosis with their Japanese collaborators. Oban Star Racers: The Alwas Cycle (2006) won several awards, including an Anime Land Award and the Grand Prix du Divertissement at the Polymanga convention.
