Work begets work and, as long as you're prepared, it will keep coming.” Anthony Mackie is an American actor known for his work in film, television, and theater; most notable for his portrayal of Sam Wilson, the Falcon, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anthony was interested in acting from an early age. He attended the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts and later graduated from the Juilliard School's Theater Division. His debut was in the movie 8 Mile (2002) as the antagonist of rapper Eminem. In 2004, he landed a starring role in Spike Lee's She Hates Me (2004) and that same year, he appeared in Clint Eastwood's Best Picture Oscar-winning film Million Dollar Baby. He has played figures such as Tupac Shakur in Notorious (2009), or Martin Luther King Jr. in the HBO drama All the Way. He was part of theatrical works in Washington and New York, including his participation on Broadway in 2010 in A Behanding in Spokane, where he acted alongside Christopher Walken. In 2014, he debuted in the Marvel franchise in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and has appeared in several Marvel films since then, including the other Captain America and Avengers films.
