Biography

Dorien Davies is a Los Angeles based actress, writer and puppeteer. She was born in Santa Barbara, California, and learned to walk in her parents beloved store, The Earthling Bookshop. She did community theater and local radio commercials as a child and got her BA from Mount Holyoke College where she majored in Theater and Studio Art. Dorien moved to Los Angeles after graduation and continued her education. She found a her people in improv comedy and sketch and eventually met her husband, actor/writer Kenny Stevenson in a class at the Groundings Theater. In 2012, Dorien, Kenny, producer- Lisa Rudin and director- Eric Kissack made an independent, rom-com called "Love, Sex and Missed Connections." The film went to 15 film festivals around the world and won 11 awards. Dorien's involvement in that movie remains on of her proudest accomplishments.
