Nick Mercer

Born in Sydney of an English father and Australian mother, Nick began training at age 13 with Australian Theatre for Young People, studying stage and screen acting until he left school. Spent a year in London, where he studied Shakespeare and Contemporary Drama at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and studied voice with Gordon Faith. On his return, Nick spent a year in private tuition with Adrian Barnes (ex-Bristol Old Vic), and also attended Adrian's classes in Laban Technique. He has also studied under Kevin Jackson (NIDA). His first professional job was in All Saints at age 15, followed later by appearances in the series Blue Water High and Out Of The Blue. Most recently was seen in Power Games, and in a number of short films.
