Biography

Paulina was born in Mexico City. Through her childhood and adolescence, she practiced lots of dancing classes and sports, focusing especially on figure ice skating, winning several national competitions. She wanted to be a philosopher or psychologist but never thought about acting until acting knocked on her door. In 2001 the crew and cast director of the film "In The Time of the Butterflies" (Showtime) went to her high school for scouting. They were missing an actress for one character so decided to do some quick castings to some students they saw in her school. Paulina made her casting, she was called back and eventually got the part sharing Screen with Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, Mia Maestro, Demian Bichir, among others. Then decided what she really wanted was to be an actress. Some years after that she got graduated from the Centro de Formación Actoral (CEFAC) and after that she took some Acting Specialization Courses.
