Biography

Anja Margoni was born in 1972 in Zurich. After quitting medical studies in Lausanne and the completion of an orthopaedagogical training she decided in to study drama at the Hochschule für Theater Bern. Before finishing her studies she was chosen to appear as Nathalie Rohner on the Swiss TV show 'Luthi und Blanc', and has continued to do so since 1999. After graduation in 2000 she has been offered and accepted a variety of contracts in Solothurn, Cottbus, Hamburg, Potsdam and Bremen. A selection of performed roles include: Sue in Neil LaBute's 'Bash', Ophelia in Heiner Müller's 'Hamletmaschine', Nurse Flinn in 'One Flew Over The Cukoo's Nest', Naomi in Igor Bauersima's 'Tatoo'. Recently she appeared at the 100 Grad Festival 'Iss Leben satt' at the Sophiensaele Berlin. Anja Margoni lives and works in Berlin.
