Martin Scorsese once said, "It's the job of the artist to make the audience care about his obsessions," and that's what director, writer, and producer Brent Wilson has challenged himself to do throughout his career. With a deep respect for the history and craft of cinema, Brent first emerged at the forefront of the pop music world twenty-five-years ago, directing and producing videos for NSYNC, Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys. The irony was not lost on him, either. Drawing on those formative and freewheeling years, Wilson took his cinematic and earnest styles down a new path, directing documentary feature films.
