Biography

Award-winning Actor/Director, Taylor Brooks, has been in numerous television shows and is often recognized as a Warren Beattyesque hairstylist from the 70's in 1,000 Ways to Die and from Mind of Mencia where he was selected out of 300 actors to play Han Solo. He began his professional acting career as a child performing in American Playhouse's Miss Lonelyhearts. Although known for his dramatic intensity, his comedic timing was honed doing stand-up at The Comedy Store, which he still does as his schedule permits. His appearances in numerous feature films include Oliver Stone's The Doors, and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion with Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow and the multiple award-winning Once Upon a Woman short film. He won Best Historical Short for Code of Houdini which he wrote, directed and starred in. The comedic TV pilot, Roller Coaster, which Taylor was in most recently, has also been winning awards.
