Biography

Ash started acting as a child in school plays and was always interested in working as an actor in some way or another. His mother was an extremely talented painter and poet and his father was a photographer and worked as a Wine salesman most of his life. His father appeared in an Episode of HBO's Da Ali G Show, giving a wine tasting to Ali G. A classic episode. Ash was drawn to acting and photography from an early age and pursued them both, far into adulthood. After a couple of years in Community College, he joined the U.S. Naval Reserves to become a Hospital Corpsman. In 1989, he moved to Chicago, IL where he began working on his acting career and studied at Improv Olympic, Victory Gardens Theatre, and Act One Studios for on camera studies in commercials and films. He also played Johnny Hooker in stage version of The Sting at the Beverly Theatre in Chicago. He worked as a Special Effects Assistant for Sokolowski-EFX, where he learned about using squibs and blowing up cars in downtown
