Biography

James Cotner was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1968. His father was Joseph Sidney Cotner III and his mother was Catherine Elizabeth Crouch. James grew up in Tucson Arizona and was an active athlete in swimming, soccer and competed in two triathlons in High School. James played drums in the band Gothic Swank that brought him out to San Francisco in 1996. He studied film acting at Full Circle productions under Joie Seldon's instruction. He has directed and acted in several films such as "Smothered Isolation" and "Flame". James' first movie was Sam Raime's "The Quick And The Dead".
