Biography

Vicky Shen graduated from the prestigious film production program at University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. While at USC film school, her student film, The Killing Seasons, was a finalist for a Directors Guild of America student award and screened at Tampere Film Festival, an academy award qualifying festival. She went on to write and direct a critically-acclaimed, feature film, Adultolescence, which received international attention and garnered a Best Actress award at Monaco Film Festival. The film has been noted on two respected, year-end top ten lists, "Living in Cinema" and "Asian Pacific Arts", among titles such as The Flowers of War, Jane Eyre, My Week with Marilyn, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Melancholia. Adultolescence was picked up by CHOPSO, the first world-wide Asian-English streaming platform.
