Biography

Johnathan Gorman knew he was a born entertainer but didn't take up acting until his senior year of high school. On landing a small role in the school play, he recalls, "I was so scared. Even having only one line, I still messed it up! I'll never forget the feeling of being onstage for the first time -- it's something everyone should do at least once in their lives." The experience was so enjoyable, he never looked back; since then, he has been cast in a variety of films, network television shows, and over 300 commercials. Johnathan's writing interest began when a college girlfriend's professor liked his story ideas. After years of developing his writing skills, he penned the script for Final Decision, which was awarded Best Film at the San Juan Cinefest in Puerto Rico. In 2006, Johnathan moved to Indianapolis so his wife could be closer to her family. After the death of his mother in 2012, Johnathan fulfilled her wish for him: he took a leap into the director's chair with a short film
