Biography

Dean Zanuck has been a driving force in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years and represents the third generation of one of Hollywood's most illustrious film families. His grandfather was the legendary Darryl F. Zanuck, Co-Founder and Chairman of 20th Century Fox, and his father was the Oscar-winning Producer, Richard D. Zanuck. Leading The Zanuck Company into the new millennium, Zanuck has developed and produced a host of memorable and commercially successful feature films. He served as a Production Executive on Warner Bros' True Crime, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. He again served as an Executive on Paramount Pictures' Rules of Engagement, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson. Over the next decade, Zanuck oversaw development and production on such blockbusters as DreamWorks' Academy Award-winning Road to Perdition, directed by Sam Mendes, starring Tom Hanks and Paul Newman, DreamWorks' Deep Impact, 20th Century Fox's Planet of the Apes, Columbia
