Founder of the 90s rock band Unwritten Law of Poway, California, whose most recent studio album, Elva, sold more than 500,000 copies. After 16 years Wade was fired from his own band due to disagreements between himself and lead singer Scott Russo arising over money and a woman. The band announced his leaving on 9 March 2004. For the past few years, Youman has been heavily involved in StandUp for Kids, a nonprofit group benefitting homeless youth; he has helped to set up Ganeshfest, the music festival that helps raise money for the organization. Wade is currently in a new band called "Kain". While with 'Unwritten Law,' he recorded the albums 'Elva,' 'Music in High Places' and 'Here's to the Mourning'.
