Biography

Thomas Wingrich was born in 1973 in Halle (Saale). After his community service of caring for people with mental and physical disabilities he studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig and at the Schauspielstudio of the Staatsschauspiel Dresden. From 1997 to 2000 he worked as an actor at the Kammerspiele Magdeburg. 2001 he started to work as a freelance artist in Berlin, he played in various theatres like the Tribune Berlin, the Kleines Theater Berlin, the Theater Bregenz, the Theater Putbus, on tour with the Theater des Ostens, in many classical leading roles for the ensemble Klassik am Meer, and since 2008 regularly at the Berlin Criminal Theatre, among others as Christopher Wren in A. Christies "Mousetrap".
