Biography

Jim was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents whose zest for life allowed him to expand his talents in both athletics and visual arts. Jim's dad (Ken Williamson, 1921-1999) was an aeronautical engineer who worked on the space program i.e. Appollo and Saturn projects and was an all-round athlete and artist. Jim's mom Dorothy, (whose father played for the St. Louis Cardinals) was the outgoing influence in the family and was also an athlete but chose to raise 4 kids and run the household. She still resides in St. Louis. Jim graduated from the University Of New Orleans and has a B.A.in Drama and Communications. After graduation he headed west for L.A. to pursue a career in Television and Film. Jim had success early in TV commercials and modeling ads for magazines. Some of his credits include: Volkswagon, Cheverolet, Cain's Coffee, Cycle Magazine, GQ Magazine, and Muscle Magazine.
