Elly Belly

Producer, Director, Writer, Actor, Painter, Musician Ellis Byers III grew up in Louisiana along with the family newspaper publishing business and artistry of his parents. He painted watercolor, pen & ink along with videography and photography. After regional theater performances as a teen in the South, he moved to New York City exploring illustrative & creative writing, poetry, painting, and acting. Elly eventually landed the role as Huckleberry Finn in a European theater tour. Ellis, also known as elly belly since 1991, has produced and / or participated in multiple capacities along with playing characters in over 200 productions of theatre, movies, commercials, exhibits, videos, television, and film. He is the CEO of Viabelly Arts and has coined the word Adventumentary (Adventure Documentary) in 1999 when he released his first low resolution prototype version of his Adventumentary entitled Labor of Love.
