Sally Hawkins

Sally Hawkins trained in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London before beginning her professional work on stage, participating in classical and contemporary theatre productions that involved ensemble and collaborative approaches to performance. She then expanded into television with roles in adaptations for the BBC, engaging in scripted serial media and contributing to ensemble casts. Hawkins transitioned into film while continuing stage work in London and later on Broadway, maintaining a presence across screen and live performance.
