Manuel Urrego

Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Colombia S.A. to parents from very old Spanish families. Mom was from Cartagena going back to the 16oo's and dad was from Bogotà going back to the 1700's. Father was a calvary officer and died at young age of 42 in Philadelphia after bypass surgery failed to be done. Was later raised in NY after moving to America with mom. After graduating High School he went to Arizona State University where he majored in Theater and dance. Preformed many stage works at ASU as well as becoming a full time dancer with Arizona Ballet Theater under the tutelage of Kelly Brown. While there he worked on the remake of " A Starr is Born " directed by Jon Peters and " The Other Side of the Wind " which was Orson Wells' last directed film of his career. He worked along side John Huston, Peter Bogdanovich and Susan Strasberg. The film was shot at Swarthout Studios in Carefree Az. and has never been released. Danced ballet professionally for 9 years.
