Biography

Olivier Meidinger was born in 1968 in Metz. Following his degree as architect at the School of Architecture of Bordeaux, he continued parallel to his job, the formation of production designer at the film school Konrad Wolf from Potsdam Babelsberg in Germany until the year 2000. Since he works as a production designer for various French and German productions. Noticed works: in KHAMOSH PANI by Sabiha Sumar, winner of the Golden Leopard in Locarno in 2004, or in Hany Abu-Assad's PARADISE NOW, Golden Globe for best foreign film in 2006, as well in the social drama BURNOUT by Verena S.Freytag, crowned best film at the New Berlin FilmAward in 2011. Actually his works can be seen in the last film of Haifaa Al Mansour THE PERFECT CANDIDATE and in CUNNINGHAM 3D by Alla Kovgan. He is a member of the Académie des Césars, Deutsche Filmakademie, ADC, VSK and Artscenico.
