Biography

Raised in North Idaho, at the age of eight Elaine Curtis appeared in her first theatrical role in community theatre. Her mother and father (sculptor Mike Curtis) encouraged her love of the performing arts and appreciation for the fine arts. By the age of 17 Elaine had performed major roles in over two dozen stage productions. Throughout her childhood, she studied acting, singing, and dance; winning awards and scholarships for her talent. She studied at both the University of Washington and the University of Idaho, where she earned her degree in Drama, before heading for Southern California. Shortly after arriving in Hollywood, Elaine made her first appearance on the small screen in an episode of the Fox series Undeclared (2001). She also starred in "Twilight Angel: Thoughts of a Mannequin" (2002), which earned "First Place Film Short" in the 25th Annual Philadelphia International Film Festival. Elaine went on to film a number of National commercials, while she continued to hone her act
