Ivonne Domingo de Aldecoa was born in Mexico City and professionally is known as Ivonne Armant, built a solid acting career in Mexico City, Spain, and Los Angeles. Ivonne inherited her passion for acting from her maternal grandmother, Tetè Torres, a well known actress and soprano. Tetè was the first Cuban to take opera and operetta to Mexico City in 1933. Tetè also founded the ANDA (National Association of Actors) along with other celebrities. The family legacy does not end here. Through Ivonne's veins flows the blood of one of the most famous voices of all time, the legendary and famous tenor, Plàcido Domingo, paternal grandfather of the versatile actress. Ivonne began her career in advertising, when at the age of 15 she became the image of the campaign "Ricolino", popular Mexican candies.
