Biography

Mar Targarona (Barcelona March 30, 1953). She studied drama at the Theatre Institute of Barcelona and later in the National Theater of Strasbourg. In 1976 he joined the company Dagoll Dagom. Mar worked with the company in the works "Will not talk in class" and the hit "Antaviana". In 1985 he left his career as an actoress and began her career in the advertising world working as a casting director and assistant director production until eventually become director. In 1990 he founded together with her husband producer Joaquin Padro Rodar y Rodar. In the beginning Rodar y Rodar was engaged in commercial production. It is the only producer in Spain so far in taking the Golden Lion at the Cannes Advertising Festival, the most prestigious award in the industry. In 1994 Joaquin and Mar founded the Taller de Guionistas, a school for learning script writing. Today it is a recognized master of the University of Barcelona.
