Muthyala Subbaiah

Muthyala Subbaiah is a Telugu film director. He has directed 51 films. Known for his movies with a heavy dose of human emotions, he is sometimes referred to as Sentiment Subbaiah. When he was working with T. Krishna he was approached by some producers with a novel Vennela Metlu written by Mynampati Bhaskar. They asked him to make a film based on this novel. He directed the film Aruna Kiranam starring Rajasekhar and Vijayashanti. This film was a big hit at the box office.
