Biography
British actor Leon Stewart was born just outside of London. From an early age he caught the acting bug and enjoyed taking part in plays throughout his schooling. He trained at the City of Westminster University in Performing Arts and took the lead in greats like 'Othello' and 'Dr Faustus'. On graduation Leon was snapped up by award winning director Nicolas Ken to play the central character 'Dwayne Brooks' in the stage version of the Stephen Lawrence inquiry 'The Colour of Justice'. This outstanding and popular play was edited by award winning author Richard Norton Taylor and won an 'outstanding achievement award'. Due to huge popular demand and an amazing performance by Leon, a special performance was commissioned by and filmed for the BBC. He also toured as 'Dwayne Brooks' in 'The Color of Justice' to some of the UK's most prestigious theatres including 'The Royal National Theatre', 'Victoria Palace Theatre' and Belfast's 'Opera House'.
