Zack Snyder

Zachary Edward Snyder is an American filmmaker known for his work in both live-action and animated cinema. He launched his career directing commercials and music videos before making his feature debut with a horror remake in 2004. Snyder went on to direct visually distinctive adaptations of graphic novels and superhero films, as well as original projects spanning fantasy, action, and animated genres. He founded the production company The Stone Quarry in 2004 with his wife and producing partner. His films have been showcased at major festivals, and he has received nominations from the Saturn Awards, including Best Director and Best Comic-to-Film Adaptation.
