Mina Shum

Canadian filmmaker, Mina Shum has written and directed five award-winning feature films which all had World Premieres at TIFF, and two films with US premieres at Sundance. Mina's first feature DOUBLE HAPPINESS won Best First Feature at the Berlin Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Torino Film Festival. Her most recent film, MEDITATION PARK premiered at TIFF, and was acquired by Netflix. Mina's work also includes art installations, essays, lectures and short films, and she has also directed episodic television in all lengths for a variety of networks including Netflix, Nickelodeon, Oxygen, W and MTV/Logo.
