Biography

Danny was born in Manchester, England . He attended Buile Hill high School in Salford. Danny, at 16 years of age joined the 'Oldham Theatre Workshop'- founded by David Johnson. He later went on to study for a Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology at the age of 19. Danny Seward's Screen Acting career began in 1998, when he was discovered by Tony Garnett' (producer of 'Kes', 'Ballykissangel', and 'This Life'). He had to audition 4 times consecutively, after later being picked to play regular character 'Dean Wishaw' - in a new critically acclaimed series called 'The Cops'. Danny remained on the show for 3 series. 'The Cops' went on to receive 2 UK BAFTA awards for the 'Best Television Drama Series' of 1999 and 2000, along with an RTS award for the 'Best Drama Series' in 2000. Danny later appeared in various TV and Theatre and Film roles, including Coronation Street, A&E, Heartbeat, Peak Practice, and Red Cap. His Theatre work includes lead performances at 'The Contact Theatre' in 'Wiseguy
