Kal Weber

Kal studied cinematography with Billy Williams, BSC (The Exorcist, Gandhi) and Christian Berger (Caché, White Ribbon) and was an editorial photographer before he moved to London to study acting and directing. The Gift was in Competition at Austin, Florida, LA Shorts, and won a TCM Turner Classics Special Jury Prize (London). Carousel was in Competition in Berlin, Oberhausen, Edinburgh and Brest, released theatrically in France by L'Agence Court Métrage, with Shorts.tv (UK) handling international. An early draft of The Soldier is a Final Draft Big Break Semi-Finalist. Stones won a Scriptbiz Best Screenplay Award at Rhode Island and is a Page Awards Semi-Finalist.
