Lovely and charming brunette actress Nadine Van der Velde was born on May 14, 1962 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She made her film debut in a small role in the raunchy teen sex comedy Private School (1983). Nadine gave a lively and engaging performance as the spunky "April Brown" in the delightful Critters (1986). She was likewise appealing as "Cindy" in Munchies (1987) and once again solid as the perky "Joan" in the "The Old Dark House" segment of the immensely enjoyable horror anthology After Midnight (1989). Van der Velde was excellent in a rare substantial leading part as troubled aspiring dancer "Jessica Lilliane" in Shadow Dancing (1988). Nadine made guest appearances on the TV shows Otherworld (1985), CBS Schoolbreak Special (1984), The Wizard (1986), Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985), Tropical Heat (1991), Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993) and JAG (1995).
