Biography

Jim Van Wyck graduated from the University of Oregon with a mathematics degree, and played eight years of professional baseball in the Minnesota Twins organization. He then entered the film industry through the Directors Guild Training Program. His first job was a production assistant on the telefilm "Elvis", starring Kurt Russell, who was his former teammate. He has now executive produced many films, including "Lethal Weapon 4", "Free Willy", and "Conspiracy Theory"; while associate producing such films as "Dick Tracy" and "Murphy's Romance". He currently lives in Newbury Park, California, USA, with his wife and family.
