Kirk Tingblad began his career animating commercials and animating on tv specials and features from his studio in Minnesota. He moved to Chicago to work as a Director/Animator for STARTOONS working on TINY TOON ADVENTURES, TAZMANIA, And ANIMANIACS, for With he received a GEORGE FOSTER PEABODY AWARD.. Starting a wave of former STARTOONS Directors moving to Hollywood. Tingblad landed at Disney as a Animation Director on such shows as QUACK PACK, ALLADIN, and TIMON AND PUMBAA.
