Asa Teeter

Asa was the son of Christine McGuire of the singing McGuire Sisters (1926-2019) and her first husband Harold Ashcraft. They were married from 1942 to 1950 with two sons, Harold & Asa. Christine married her second husband, John Teeter in 1952 (divorced in 1962). Both sons were adopted by Teeter and that's where the "Teeter" name came into play. Both sons went back to the "Ashcraft" name in later years.
