Biography

Jodi Purdy-Quinlan began her career in 1981 in the Film & TV Industry when she was cast by Actor Cliff Robertson in "Charley 2" a sequel to the 1968 film that won him the Academy Award "Charley". In 1982 she joined AFTRA and began working on projects shooting in the Boston area, including "Spenser for Hire". In 1986, she was cast in the CBS Movie of the week, directed by Michael Miller "A Case of Deadly Force" starring Richard Crenna. She joined SAG and soon thereafter began working in Commercials, TV and Film in Boston and New York. Purdy-Quinlan also had a hand in casting working for Boston Casting Directors booking principals, day players and extras on projects shooting in New England. In 2002, she found the kid who would be cast in the role of a teenage killer in "Mystic River", in addition, she cast all the child extras in the film and everyone in the riveting 1st Holy Communion scene.
