Biography

Matt Price was born in Chicago and raised in Evanston, IL. He is the son of a lawyer and a puppeteer. Matt went to the University of Michigan and was the co-founder of the improv troupe "highly IMPROVable." After graduating, Matt worked on several MTV shows before moving to Los Angeles and co-creating several pilots for Fox and NBC. Since that time, Matt has appeared on many shows, including Arrested Development (2003), The Office (2005), Men of a Certain Age (2009), and Transparent (2014) to name a few. As a writer, Matt won an Emmy for his writing on the Cartoon Network's Regular Show (2009) in 2012, and he has been nominated for Emmys five other times. Matt co-developed and served as the Supervising Producer on the animated series Close Enough (2020) for HBOMax and wrote for several seasons on Adult Swim's Final Space (2018).
