Carolyn Pickman

Carolyn Pickman is the director of The Studio and the cofounder and current president of CP Casting Inc. She is a member of Screen Actors Guild & Casting Society of America. Carolyn has won numerous casting awards for feature films, including The Departed (2006), Gone Baby Gone (2007), Shutter Island (2010), Mystic River (2003), Good Will Hunting (1997), The Crucible (1996), and Mystic Pizza (1988). She has performed professionally in plays, soap operas, TV, and films; and since the late 70's has taught professional and nonprofessional adults and teens, acting and auditioning skills. Along with the work she does at The Studio, she is currently an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University working with Media and Theater Department students. This class, On Camera Acting, has been a successful addition to the TA curriculum at Suffolk for 5 years.
