Though he started as an actor in the mid-1990s, he worked for several years in camera department, grip & electric departments, and eventually started operating camera, DPing, and finally directing. He works often with Coatwolf Productions (Bellflower, 2011, Chuck Hank & The San Diego Twins, 2016) as their resident 1st Assistant Camera, under cinematographer Joel Hodge. On Coatwolf's "Chuck Hank & The San Diego Twins", he brushed off his acting chops for a short but impactful scene. The film is set for a 2016 release.
