Diego Peretti trained initially in medicine and specialized in psychiatry, completing his residency at Hospital Castex. During his medical studies, he began studying acting with Raúl Serrano, eventually transitioning toward theatre while still practicing psychiatry. Around 1993–1994 he debuted on television, and shortly thereafter he left psychiatry to focus on acting. Peretti’s career spans theatre, television and film. In television he combined acting with contributions to screenwriting. Over time he moved into leading roles in both dramatic and comedic productions, transitioning from supporting parts to principal characters, and participating in projects that reached national and international audiences.
