Biography

Handsome and agile dancer Mark Sellers hails from Missouri. Mark started out as part of a dance team with his sister Laura; the sibling duo won awards for their appearances on the TV shows "American Bandstand" and "Star Search." Sellers joined the cast of the enormously popular music variety TV series "Solid Gold" as a regular featured dancer in 1984 and remained on the show until the end of the 1986 season. Along with fellow dancer Cooley Jackson, Mark used breakdance moves on "Solid Gold" and thus introduced this funky street style of dancing to a mass audience. Sellers was featured in the music videos for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (as one of the dancing graveyard zombies), Lionel Richie's "All Night Long," Samantha Fox's "I Wanna Have Some Fun," and Marty Ballin's "Born to Be a Winner."
