Rodney Scot

Rodney Scot has been a media professional for over twenty-five years in film, television and commercial photography. Born in Dayton Ohio, he grew up traveling the country with his mother moving from state to state. Rodney moved to Conroe, Texas where his mother sold real estate and it became home for the remainder of his education in 1982. After high school, he would be offered a full scholarship for vocal performance to attend college in East Texas. His next stop was Dallas Texas where Rodney would begin his career in film and television starting in 1991. He worked on numerous productions filmed in the Dallas area and was heavily involved as an actor and casting director.In September of 1999, he was asked to host and co-producer the long running Christian-themed travel television series Discovery Jones Expeditions (2000). It was based in Charlotte, North Carolina, but filmed on location around the world as its ministry. It completed one hundred and fifty episodes and won three awards
