Peggy J. Scott

Peggy grew up outside Philadelphia, where her father was a business executive and her mother did a variety of volunteer work. She inherited a love of travel, sailing, and animals from her parents. She spent her junior year at the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France, studying art, philosophy, and French dramatic literature. During her time in France, she traveled throughout Europe, curious to learn more about the world and our country's place in it. She has lived on a sailboat, trekked in Peru, visited Bushman in their villages and traveled widely--visiting over five continents and forty countries throughout Asia, South America, Europe, and most recently, going on safari in Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Visiting animals in their natural habitat has been one of the highlights of her time spent in those remote areas.
