Biography

Terry, a former police officer, was a martial arts expert in several disciplines and began his career as a stuntman in such films as Ninja III, The Domination. He became known to a generation of Arizona children when he starred as Sheriff Trigger Mortis in the stunt show at Legend City (Phoenix, Arizona) amusement park in the late 1970s-early 1980s, and played the same role on the "Wallace and Ladmo" TV show during that period. He moved to Hollywood in 1984 and began working in TV, film and commercials. His TV work included roles on "Golden Girls" and "LA Law" and voice overs for Nissan commercials. Terry was also a talented stage director and acted in many regional productions, especially after he moved to Dallas in 1994.
