Rick Schuler

While he was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Rick grew up in France and attended French public school until the age of fourteen. He completed his high school education at a Canadian boarding school in Southern Germany and upon his return to the States, worked for a year at a Pontiac dealership in Wheaton, Illinois, before completing his college education. After a year of employment in sales for a publishing company, he moved to South Bend, Indiana to complete a Masters' Degree at the University of Notre Dame. Following graduation, he taught at an all-girls high school in Sierra Madre, California before beginning his career in the film industry. He had his start in the world of TV commercials working with directors David Fincher, Michael Bay, Spike Jonze, Simon West, Dominic Sena, David Kellogg, Mark Romanek, Michael Mann, Tony Scott and many others.
