Arnold Schulkes

Arnold Wynand Schulkes was born on April 20, 1930 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. A longtime stand-in for Dirk Bogarde, Schulkes first began appearing in films in uncredited minor roles in 1957. Handsome and boyish looking, Arnold was usually cast in movies as soldiers or officers in various branches of the military. Outside of acting, Schulkes also worked behind the scenes as either an assistant director or location manager. He died at age 85 on February 18, 2016.
